Lions Club

The Lions Club founded in 1917 is the largest and most effective community service organization in the world with over 1.4 million members of which we are proud to be apart. Perhaps one of our greatest objectives is to encourage service minded people to serve their community without personal financial reward.

Northwood Lions contribute to such local community needs as Meals on Wheels, Northwood Food Pantry, Northwood Deaconess Health Center and various local community projects.

The Northwood Lions meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at the Northwood Community Center. The Executive Board meets the last Thursday of the month at 7:30am at Hot Stuff Pizza.

If you are at least eighteen years old and are interested in taking an active role in the welfare of your community, the Lions Club is for you. The annual dues are $50.00.
